The CMAG employs a revolutionary tube design. The CMAG is most effective where flow profiling is unavailable. The CMAG opens up new and retrofit installations to huge savings in design, layout or reconstruction/modification.
The EMAG employs a traditional flow tube design. The EMAG is more cost effective where the flow profiling already exists.
Each has their own unique benefit. The EMAG, with its traditional flow tube design, is more cost effective where the flow profiling already exists. If flow profiling is not available, the CMAG, which employs a revolutionary tube design, will bring substantial savings in design, layout or reconstruction/modification.
The flow tube design eliminates the velocity measurement gradient normally generated in coil/tube designs. With a true averaged velocity sample in both of the flow tube axis, this creates a significant reduction in the need for piping straight run and installation for the CMAG.
